Current WCSD parent. Experienced leader committed to transparency, accountability, teacher support, & putting students first.

I’m a current WCSD parent and father of three daughters who have attended Walnut Creek schools. I bring more than 25 years of leadership and board experience, along with community and PTA involvement. I’m running to bring a parent’s perspective, proven leadership, transparency, and accountability to the School Board.

I’m not running because I believe everything in our district is wrong. I’m running because there is a great deal that’s right — and because I believe we can make it even better. As a current WCSD parent, I want to bring a parent’s perspective, proven leadership, and a commitment to transparency, accountability, and collaboration to the School Board.

Every decision should begin with one question: Is this in the best interest of our students? Their education, well-being, and opportunities must remain our highest priority.
Parents deserve a School Board that listens and responds. I will answer questions, engage openly with families, and make sure parents know their voices and concerns matter. Transparency and communication will always be a priority.
Great schools depend on great teachers. I will support our educators with the resources, respect, and partnership they need to succeed, while making sure their voices and experience are part of the decisions that affect our classrooms.
Future school measures are critical investments in our students and schools. I will work to engage parents and the community early, clearly communicate why additional funding is needed, demonstrate accountability for every dollar, and build the broad community support necessary for future measures to succeed.
Have a question, concern, or idea for our schools? I want to hear from you. Strong schools depend on open communication between parents, educators, community members, and the School Board.
